From my past experiences I have found that, using a combination of different techniques is a great way to solidify information into a child’s head and that also each child will be more akin to a specific form of teaching than another.

I love to constantly question my students to ensure that they actually understand the content and are not just sitting there clueless, and anything they do struggle with will delve into greater depth.
