I firstly start by talking to the student and identifying what their goals are and what they want to get out of these sessions. I then build a tailor-made plan to help maximise the student's success in reaching these goals.

Prior to the lesson, I will create a presentation which I believe best displays the content in a manner that suits the particular student.

A typical lesson will consist of the tailor-made slides being delivered to the student at a pace that suits them. I will then interactively cover content using a visualiser to allow the student to get a firm understanding of the material. Then, we will tackle questions together to reaffirm the student's understand of the content.

Finally, I will present the relevant mark schemes so that the student can understand exactly what the examiner's and looking for. This strategy maximises the marks the student will earn when taking the all important exam!
