All subjects are firstly explained in context. This forms part of the introduction. We then will look at the practice and purpose of the subject area, leading to examples that are clear and understandable to meet the standards of proficiency required.

I use a steps approach. Building knowledge gradually, until a complete grasp of the subject matter is in hand. All questions are answered fully and with plenty of further examples to highlight the different angles.

I never seek to rush or to push a student beyond what they can comfortably attain, with the view of always recapping on the topics taught at the beginning of each new session. This enables me to grasp the true understanding and requisite follow up that may need to be provided at each stage of learning.

Accounting and Finance is the key to understanding business, and my students will always enjoy my live examples from my experience in Industry. This helps to secure their learning and development as the subject is led by context and applicable and situational briefings.

My main aim is to enable students to feel confident and competent in the subject matter, and to link exam standard examples to help the student gain understanding as to what the examiner is looking for and why. Breaking the question down and providing an approach that will secure maximum marks.
