Nicholas Chapman

My name is Nicholas, and as a recent graduate from Newcastle University with a masters in physics I am well prepared to help you succeed in maths and physics.
I primarily conduct tutoring online, but I am open to discuss in-person teaching for local students.

Before a lesson is conducted, I will discuss the key areas that you require support or practice in and I will find the necessary material to ensure a tailored and productive lesson.

Once we have made a plan of action, we can get to work!

Having studied maths & physics at GSCE, A-Level and degree level, I can adjust the lesson style as needed to suit your needs - whether that is a simple brush up on a topic, or a more complex and comprehensive lesson for new concepts.

Lessons will usually consist of teaching with aids such as drawings or presentations, example problems to follow along with and then conclude with some problems to try on your own - allowing for a progress check and to plan for the next lesson. If closer to exams, we can also work through past papers to get you exam ready!
