I have taught previous students through song and play to grow their confidence, depending on their progress we will move on to reading writing and role play.

I found this eased shy students in more as I know alot are scared to make mistakes. When we do it as a group then it will build confidence.

In my experience working as a junior high and kindergarden teacher it worked very well.

The children and I got along very well to the point the parents all got together and voted I was to stay in the nursery class I had started in. I worked one on one with students that perhaps struggled more and I felt I was able to get results of progress from them. I believe education is so important.
