I like to make language learning fun, be it with Spanish, French or English! I like to use interactive games such as bamboozle and projects as well as covering important vocabulary and grammar needed and required.
My lessons begin with a starter and introduction where we introduce the main point of the lesson, usually with an activity. The main body of my lesson then follows the main objective for that lesson (grammar point, reading, writing, vocabulary theme etc.). I like to make this relevant and also like to bring in other elements to make this as active as possible.
I like to end the lesson with a closer to consolidate the learning done in class and to practise to make sure it as been understood.
I use a wide variety of resources, such as books, film, art and music etc to reinforce lessons and I consider my teaching methods to be specific to the learner and to find out what their goal is so we can reach it together!
