Hello!

My experience of teaching started when coaching my high school peers in debating where I delivered workshops for various skill and experience levels. My peers went on to win many of the local competitions!

During my lessons, I will start by explaining the content and the areas we will be looking at before giving you the chance to clarify anything. I will then deliver the class content in various ways, depending on the needs of the pupil the delivery may be more visual using cards for example or interactive such as games to help you consolidate your knowledge. There is always time for questions and I am more than happy to spend more time focusing on one area!
Halfway through, there will be some activities for you to complete which help you consolidate your knowledge and we can go over any areas you are still unsure of. We will spend some time at the end reviewing your answers and I check in with you to see how you felt the lesson went and if you'd like to focus more on an area or would like to try a different style of learning.
My classes are fun, laid-back and engaging, offering you the chance to learn in a way that suits you. Some of my favorite topics to teach are based on the World Wars and the role women played during this time. Feel free to bring along any homework or past-papers that you would like to go over and we can incorporate these into future lessons!
