I like to involve my learners in setting targets.
We create a programme around them and their interests.
I want every learner to develop their own creativity and confidence from day one.
I have taught in primary schools, secondary schools and colleges, both whole class teaching and one-to-one.
I like to encourage my learners to take advantage of performance opportunities as and when they arise.
Each lesson is highly structured, yet with a degree of flexibility if the student has particular skills to develop. We cover listening and theory skills, improvisation and performance skills, as well as the normal musicianship skills.
