Hello! My name is Niall, I am a Maths or Physics tutor, and I would like to introduce myself so you can get to know what to expect from tutoring from me.

I have 2 years experience with small group teaching for Mathematics, with good feedback from my students, I also have one year experience with one on one maths tutoring for students.

I have an undergraduate degree in Applied Maths and Physics am working currently on a PhD in Physics.

I like to make my lessons as interactive as possible with a focus on getting students to feel comfortable explaining new concepts in a simple a way as possible.

The building blocks for learning Maths and Physics start with simple examples which should be fully grasped before moving on to more complex areas, very often a students problems start from not fully understanding these fundamental building blocks. My teaching style focuses on wholistic understanding of a problem from the simplest to the most complex parts.

I am flexible to each students learning style with examples that suit aural, visual and kinaesthetic learners and aim to work with the student in a way that best suits them. I am happy to tutor online or in person with a preference for in person where convenient. I'm based in South Belfast and can travel across most of South and Central Belfast, potentially further afield on request.
