I’ve been practicing yoga for the last ten years and been teaching it for the last four years. My strong points are communication and patience. As everybody comes with different thresholds I try to understand how far one can push their bodies and when it’s advisable to use props to achieve the benefits of a posture without straining the body and mind. Yoga isn’t only physical, a beginner focuses more on exercise (asanas/posture work) to simply prepare the body to enter into a state of mindfulness with awareness on breath. This approach slowly trickles into one’s life and becomes a way of life rather than just one hour on the mat.
