Nia Davies

I grew up in a bilingual household where my father spoke Welsh to me and my brother while living in Dublin. I believe this planted a seed in my brain for language learning, particularly the gutteral ones.
I chose to study German Language and literature in University, which is where my passion for language truly developed. However, the teaching methods used at 3rd level felt very restrictive and available to those who already had a fluent understanding of the language.
I moved to Cologne in Germany for 2 years during my studies in order to pick up the language and partake in class. The mission was successful, and after 2 years I came back with more confidence than ever before while speaking German.
I found myself ready to talk, debate, theorise, analyse, express and question life in German, and felt good about it too.
The dynamics of my classes stem from the bare basics - communicating with one another. No matter what your level, I will figure out your level and then we will go from there. We will figure out your goal and work together towards it.
