Nevin Isaac

Hi there! :)

My name is Nevin and I am an aspiring medical doctor studying at the University of Birmingham. I achieved 9 grade 9/A*’s at GCSE, before achieving 3 A’s at A-level in Maths, Chemistry and Biology in 2023 (so I am familiar with current syllabus). I am happy to tutor Maths, Chemistry and Biology at A-level or GCSE level.

Over a year of experience in private tutoring and having been tutored myself has taught me the value of tailoring the lessons to your unique needs. Everyone’s different! To start, I’ll try to get an idea of how you feel with different topics and how you like to study best. From there, we can make a plan together to make sure you make the most out of each lesson. Examples of techniques we might use to learn include the Feynman method, active recall and lots of exam practice. Alongside this, I hope you ask as many “silly” questions as you want.

By showing my passion for these subjects and sharing some of the tricks and tips I use as a student, I hope to supplement you/your child’s learning experience as best as I can.
