When tutoring I always start by getting to know you and what potential challenges you might be facing or content you might be struggling with. I then explain individually each concept before working on practise questions. Additionally, I help you to establish effective studying techniques and give advice on time management skills for completing homework in your own time.

In terms of my academic background, I have achieved top results in my A Levels with A*A*A and an A* in my EPQ and have continued to achieve highly in my University modules. For instance, 91 and 94 percent in my recent Anatomy and Physiology exams as well as a 1st in Psychology Research Methods amount other modules. I have experience with preparing for AQA Psychology and OCR Physical Education exams including long answer questions and 16 markers.

I have previous experience assisting peers in my modules to study for exams along with teaching young people a large variety of different sports/activities which has given me valuable transferable skills that I apply when tutoring. For example, the ability to understand different learning styles, effective lesson planning, helping students to work through challenging problems and listening to feedback.

My goal is for you, as my tutee, to improve your grades through increasing your understanding of core material and your ability to apply that knowledge to answer different exam questions.
