The guitar has been my 'life' from the age of 4yrs old. I did my first 'studio session' at the age of 13 and throughout my life the guitar has been my best friend, 'crutch' and partner. I have toured the UK and abroad, featured on albums and singles, appeared on radio & T.V and supported many bands on many stages 'live' in venues, festivals etc. So, as you can see, as well as being a competent guitarist I have over 40 years experience in the 'musical jungle'.
When teaching a student I believe that the most important thing for the student is to have fun, It's not a task. Students, of all ages learn at different rates but, ultimately, what we all want to do is learn a song; a tune that we know. So, let's do that! After that wonderful achievement everything slowly falls into place, you can relate to the instrument and eventually all the 'patterns' become second nature.
If it's not fun........there's no point!
My first lesson is ALWAYS free. That way we know if we're following the path that we want without any deep commitment.
I love nothing better than passing on my passion and skill to someone who is eager to learn.
