I’m a dental student who has over 5 years of experience tutoring kids of all ages from year 2 to GCSE level. I’m a strong believer in work smarter, not harder and over the years through trial and error I feel like I’ve found many effective study methods that aren’t boring and keep you engaged and maybe even have fun while learning and becoming more confident in the subject we’re working on. I also think each student is different and will have different strengths and weaknesses that I will try my best to adapt to. I provide online lessons for science and maths as I think it’s the most convenient and time efficient, I’m flexible with timings and we can work around each other’s schedules. I will provide worksheets, helpful website links and small quizzes to test your knowledge occasionally to aid your studies when necessary. I will first spend one or two lessons trying to understand the students needs and style of learning and where they need the most help to then create the most useful lesson plans. I’ve put myself down as a maths tutor but I’m also experienced in science and even English tutoring depending on the age, feel free to just leave me a message and we can discuss further plans. I want to be someone my students know they can ask for help without hesitation or fear of judgement, whether it’s homework help or exam preparation, I hope I can provide the support you need!
