I make use of PowerPoints as well as screen sharing to showcase various relevant resources.. I also use an online whiteboard when necessary. I like to keep it relaxed, especially for the older kids, as I teach them GCSE English it’s nice to have a little discussion about the books. I also take to using colloquial language to make the novels more relatable and easy to understand for their exams.

Building a relationship with these kids is what’s most important to me, as a positive environment results in more effective teaching and learning.
