Currently working as a supply teacher and tutor, following 4 and a half years as a full-time primary school class teacher with a specialism in PE and background in computing. Achieved a first-class degree in Primary Education BSc, whilst studying at the University of Northampton after a successful 7-year military career.

I have planned, designed and taught high quality lessons for all primary subjects to a range of different ability levels including English, Maths, Science, Geography, History and Computing using ip to date pedagogical knowledge which includes expert knowledge of dual coding, Rosenshein's Principles, behavioural, cognitivism, constructivism, humanism, and connectivism learning theories.

My lessons are planned to include my students' interests to better engage them. I use a range of techniques from discussion, to teacher led and even pupil led learning, I sldp like to include games to help with retention of the subjects being taught. I prefer discrete monitoring of progress over endless tests and judge student ability on their whole learning journey rather than a 30 minute assessment paper.

I like to have a good relationship with my students based on mutual respect and understanding. I look forward to seeing them make progress throughout our lessons and celebrate their victories alongside them.
