I have excellent verbal and non verbal communication skills, alongside an in depth understanding of one's learning style. With a qualification in Educational Psychology, I understand that it is important to consider different approaches when it comes to teaching and considering SEN and learning disabilities such as dyslexia.
With great organisation and time management skills, I am able to work under stress and timed deadlines. I also have experience in using ICT and can use it to my advantage whilst teaching. This involves using different softwares and applications such as Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Publisher. I also like to use the Internet (with reliable and referenced information) as a tool whilst teaching.
I enjoy using art and being creative and like the idea of incorporating this in my teaching. I also have varied experienced in Health and Social Care environments, with volunteering at schools, nurseries, care homes and also worked as a volunteer to teach the arabic curriculum to young children.
