Enthusiastic and experienced tutor ready to delve deep with every student towards their preparation for the 11+ examinations. I like to adopt a more personal 1-1 style of teaching, as I feel that it creates a more comfortable environment for the student, and allows me to tailor my teaching to suit the needs of each student. This is the same approach I adopted when mentoring younger students during my time as a sixth-form student at Wallington County Grammar School.

I have accumulated a wide range of resources to help each student stay on track with their understanding and will be using regular testing methods to ensure their weaknesses are constantly improving. This all starts with a baseline test during their first few lessons, to ensure that I am focusing on weaknesses from day one, and not wasting any time.

Finally, I will be keeping regular contact with students even outside of lessons, as I feel that this will help to keep students motivated, whilst also building the understanding that I am available to support them whenever they need, and not only during lesson time.

I look forward to mirroring the skills I have gained thus far on my tutoring journey thus far and look forward to stepping outside of my comfort zone as I continue on.
