With two years of experience, I offer personalised lessons for all levels, from basic maths to Advanced Higher and A Level Further Mathematics. Whether you're preparing for exams or need help with homework, I’ve helped students go from failing their prelims to scoring A's.

My lesson structure begins with a warmup exercise comprising of questions on the topics we covered the previous lesson as well as those we are about to cover to get you in the right mindset for the lesson. After that we will go through the core concepts of the chosen topic making sure we shore up any gaps in the knowledge before doing some personalised questions and examples. These questions are handmade to be at a level that I think you will find challenging but not impossible. Finally we will finish with a check in to gauge confidence levels about the topic and what we will cover the next session. Within 24 hours of the session finishing I will send out some questions based on what we've just covered to do for the next session. This allows me to see how you've progressed and what you've retained from the previous session.
My tutorials are based off of the dialogue between you and me which allows you to gain confidence with your maths and to feel comfortable answering questions on your own. As well as the tutorial content, I also allow my students to send me emails outwith the tutorial with questions they may have with either the exercise sheet I have given them or with topics they have covered at school that aren't making sense. I am aware that some students don't feel confident going to their teachers for help during lessons so I am happy to be someone they ask for guidance!
