I use a combination of pedagogical, heutogogical, and therapeutic techniques. In short, I follow what inspires the student, using them as the starting point to leap into studies. Starting conversationally about what interests (or does not interest) you, we find a middle ground between the course requirements and your own enjoyment, as studies show that an engaged happy mind is more likely to take in the information presented. This, along with creating a safe space to discuss the work, is how we move into the core exercises, activities, and learning that is expected, but from a position of your own enjoyment.
