I love Science and So will you!

My lessons are held on the Zoom platform. I use a variety of best practices and resources to teach my science lessons. I customize each students lessons to support any curriculums that the student is using and will modify to help with comprehension of challenging concepts.

PowerPoint presentations, videos, games and simulations are some of the ways in which we will engage with the content. There are also assessments to track progress.

I cover the following science topics:
Earth and Space
Life Science
Physical Science
Environmental Science
Biology

Our first session is a meet and greet where we establish the students needs and how best they can be met. When necessary I will give a short assessment to help determine a students strengths and areas of struggle.

I ask for parents/students to please supply me with any grades, test scores, feedback from teachers, that the student may have on the subject to be tutored. As well as the name of the curriculum being used at the students school.

In my experience most students need at least 2 one hour sessions per week to make a significant impact on grades. Failing students or those with special needs may require more. It is up to the student/parent to determine what works best for your budget and schedule.
