I have 1 year of experience in 1-on-1 Online and Face-to-face teaching of students between the ages of 12 to 18 years old. I plan Creative, Fun and Dynamic online lessons using platforms such as Quizizz, Edpuzzle and the Google Classroom where students can be given games and challenges to complete as part of their learning experience. As part of my teaching approach I use games and fun activities to make complex concepts more digestible and encourage active participation. I often utilize the Differentiated Instruction Method of Teaching, this involves tailored education plans for students based on differing needs and I always exercise patience and empathy towards my students. I do my best to meet the different needs and interests of students using varied course content, activities, and assessments. This approach, has lead to me helping students overcome their fear of Mathematics for example. My Lessons aim to elevate the knowledge and confidence of my students, with every session ending in more answers than questions. During my lessons concepts are broken down into detailed explanations using simple language, visual aids and relatable examples. I have an A-level Diploma in Biology, Chemistry and Pure Mathematics in addition to completing a rigorous curriculum in Basic Medical Sciences such as Anatomy, Embryology, Physiology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology and Microbiology at the University of Medical Sciences of Havana, Cuba. Given my education and experience I always plan to use my skills to offer lessons of the highest quality possible in: Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry and General Science.
