I have worked as a professional writer, content and project manager across diverse industries for over 8 years. As someone with a passion for the arts and great writing, now I want to get back to where it all began, and where I first became inspired to be a writer - with great teachers.

I was lucky enough to have some fantastic teachers who would determinedly strive each day to push me to discover the best of myself, to surprise and test myself and draw conclusions that challenged and inspired even more great questions.

Approaching each task as friends, my students and I will examine some thought provoking texts, discuss them and challenge each other in the conclusions we draw. The best parts of English classes, aside from reading all the inspiring works ofcourse, are the discussions that take place afterwords, that encourage students to think critically, to theorise and to challenge.

We'll follow the syllabus and examples of well performing exam answers and coursework to deconstruct GCSE and A Level English. We'll evaluate each week and discover strengths, areas to work on and strategise together about how to achieve the goals that we will also set together, empowering the student to work towards what they want to achieve for themselves and inspiring them to believe that it is completely within their reach.
