My lessons will comprise of a general quiz to begin, the best way to learn in my experience is to get things wrong! Following that we will have a focus of the lesson, a specific topic the student has requested . After we will have another quiz to test the understanding of the student. Homework will be set after each session which will help to solidify the students learning. Homework will include past paper question and answers will be provided so they can self-assess, this is an excellent method to improve their understanding and see where they are going wrong.
I have experience in Biology, Chemistry and Maths, achieving 9's in all at GCSE and A's in all at A-level. I have the most experience with OCR and AQA exam boards, but I could look into other exam board specification to ensure the content I am teaching will be appropriate for their exams. I feel I could be an amazing tutor to work alongside their teachers at school and help solidify information they didn't quite understand in lessons. I have flexible availability and can work around your schedule!
