My name's Natalia. I'm an English Teacher from Ukraine and I speak Ukrainian as my native language, and I can speak English as a secondary language. I have been teaching English since 2002. English has always been my favourite subject at school and one day I realized that it would be a wise decision for me to pursue a career in English and that’s what I did. I have a Bachelor Degree in Teaching English Language in Primary and Secondary Schools, a Master Degree of Pedagogics in Teaching in high schools. I have earned a Level 5 certificate in TEFL and the Trinity CertTESOL. As a highly compassionate and approachable teaching professional, with over 15 years of hands-on teaching experience, I am confident in my ability to become a valuable member of your teaching staff.
I’ve been teaching General English and Business English using different online teaching platforms and books both for children and adults. I’ve been using Zoom and Microsoft Teams for my online lessons since 2020 and I usually have 30 lessons a week with groups of different age categories.
Being a versatile educator, I have taken the opportunity to instruct a wide variety of students from various backgrounds and all facets of society. As a result, I’m a compassionate teacher, who remains sensitive to children’s unique needs, and offers positive encouragement and reinforcement to keep students focused and motivated.
One of the most effective ways that I assist ESL students is by developing and presenting comprehensible and stimulating lesson plans that facilitate all learning styles. I research, locate, and incorporate a variety of resources to accommodate students via visual, audio, tactile, and kinaesthetic methods. My goal is to maintain an open, honest, communicative, and supportive classroom where each student feels safe, secure, and appropriately challenged.
