Are you planning a trip to Italy and would like to learn enough to get around? Do you want to become fluent? Do you want your child to learn Italian? Do you simply want to practice? Whatever you are looking for, I will make sure that my lessons match your needs! Aimed at all ages and ability levels, my sessions are shaped by the kind of work that YOU want to do. And because there's no better way to learn a language than being immersed in the culture, as well as a more classic approach, we will also listen to songs, watch scenes from films, look at viral memes that we will then break down.
I am a recent graduate of the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, where I was on the BA Drama, Applied Theatre and Education course which has taught me invaluable lessons in teaching and facilitating classes, as well as the importance of listening to and understanding the students. For this reason, I have a friendly, relaxed approach to teaching shaped by the student and the way they engage with learning.
In high school I offered tutoring sessions to my classmates and other peers in different subjects - mainly English, Italian Literature, History and Philosophy. I have also volunteered in afterschool clubs where I have helped younger students with their homework.
I recently worked as a Teaching Assistant at an arts centre in London, where I helped deliver art workshops to students aged 5-15.
I have a passion for languages and, as a multilingual speaker, I understand how languages should get taught.
