I am currently studying Law at the University of Warwick (averaging a 2:1). I have excelled highly in my A-level results, reaching A* results across the board in law, sociology and psychology. I have also got a strong GCSE background with English language and literature being my strongest subjects. I cater to all of these subjects.
I also have gained several months of experience as a teaching assistant, working in several schools across the Midlands and developing my experience teaching and nurturing students alike! I have also worked with students my own age on several occassions tutoring and supporting their education through study-groups and peer-teaching sessions.
I also participate in the gaming industry! I am highly interested in Esports and gaming, so I love to incorporate those interests whenever possible!
My lessons are definitely on the interactive side! I love having discussions with my students relating to the subject and look at multiple perspectives to an argument and topic to gain a full picture of the subject at hand. Especially with certain subjects, looking at historical background, political context and policy reasonings is essential to gain a full grasp of the material (and its an important part to gaining higher marks in exams).
The lessons will be fairly casual and relaxed, so there's no pressure on my students to get an answer wrong or incorrect. In most subjects at A-level and University level, there isn't actually a wrong answer as long as you can support your argument, and I nurture that! Critical thinking is an essential still for students to develop, and it's a skill I encourage when tutoring.
