I have volunteered teaching to foreign students and o am currently writing my own book for a publication. I would construct my lessons to suit the student and their exact needs, it would be very person centred and I would cover a range of content depending upon their needs and requirements to where they wish to improve.
I would also ensure full flexible learning along with flexible times for meeting, as I understand how stressful education can be myself.
Throughout the dynamics I would target certain areas across the language and literature side of things to see where the improvement is required and set target goals each week to see what has been achieved and where an extra bit of support may be needed. I am again all person centred in regards to my approach and I can assure quality support in the study sessions, I will offer constructive and critical feedback to ensure we are aiming for the target goal that has been set. I will also set ‘home work’ each week to boost the support and overall improve the productivity and performance, this will allow me to also see where the student is at and I would be more than happy to tutor on certain subjects such as poetry throughout the sessions also, I am very flexible and person centred, our tutor sessions would be entirely dependant to what you require and need. I can also be flexible with our tutor times to ensure you are stress free.
