Unlike the Teacher-centered learning methodology which requires the teacher to give classroom instructions and lead the class, My tutoring sessions will be of student-centered learning approaches, wherein the students are encouraged to take an active role in the classroom, rather than taking part in more passive activities like listening to a lecture or writing an essay. They will have lots of discussions and be encouraged to ask questions, which is linked to inquiry-based learning. WIth regards to examinations, I will help out by providing excellent reading and study materials in addition to mock tests. I also believe in competency based reading, where the students are not limited by their syllabi but rather have the freedom to be inquisitive about topics.
