Naomi Yankey

I am currently studying English Literature at The University of Kent, in my second year on track to receive a 1:1. During my study, I have gained analytical, critical, communicative and writing skills.

I have tutored several secondary school children, all at different academic levels, each achieving 2 grades above their predicted after being tutored by me. My teaching style is interactive and tailored to the need of each individual. The term interactive within itself is broad - similarly to the dynamic of my lessons. Some lessons will include PowerPoints, reading and comprehension, worksheets, and anything I feel suited for the benefit of the student.

I strive to work closely with students, making their sessions memorable and carefully designed to ensure that specific areas of weaknesses are targeted in order for them to excel in their exams. I want all of my students to feel comfortable during my sessions and to leave satisfied with their results.
