I have 3 years experience working in primary schools. I am able to adapt resources to address what you, as a learner, would like to learn. I like to motivate my students by giving appropriate praise, depending on age. Most of my experience is with children under the ages of 6, however, I am open to teaching ESL to adults. I would use powerpoint formats, with an icebreaker activity, and the main part of the lesson would be to address the learner's goals. I am very friendly and patient, therefore, I will reassure the learner that making mistakes is completely fine. I speak 3 languages, English as a native language, Japanese as basic competence, and Welsh. I am very open to teaching primary school aged children to focus on different parts of the UK curriculum. I have a secure understanding of teaching SSP (phonics) to younger children, as well as the core subjects e.g. English, mathematics, and science. I am confident with EYFS and KS1. I am a qualified primary school teacher, therefore, this is my expertise.
