I like to adjust my lesson style to suit the students needs. I understand not all students learn well by just being spoken to, some students learn better with writing or visualisation, and others learn best kinesthetically - by doing things like acting out a scenario, rather than solely listening or writing. I like to help explore their own individual talents and abilities and help them to learn about and explore their own learning style.

In my time teaching the student, I will use patience and understanding to adjust and offer the best possible lesson plan for the individual. No student is incapable of learning anything, it just takes a bit of time to understand how that individual’s brain works!

I work best with younger individuals, at lower key stage and GCSE level work. I can still offer help at A-Level but I wouldn’t consider this necessarily my area of expertise.

I am more than happy to work alongside my younger students parents to put together plans that work best as a unit. I understand parents will have their own concerns and needs that they feel need to be met for their child to succeed, so this will be held at high regard when it comes to putting a plan together for the individual.

Any concerns or questions are more than welcomed! The feedback of students and parents can only help me to better mould my approach to the online classroom, and better my teaching style and technique.
