I'm Naomi! I graduated magna cum laude with a Master's degree in Psychology, and I have a Master's degree in Italian language intercultural trainers for foreigners.
I have had a remarkably innovative approach to teaching Italian language and Culture, through an interdisciplinary perspective, fun and creative. I have been motivating and supporting students while ensuring that they make appropriate progress. I have been also engaging my students on analyzing the Italian cultural framework, through the teaching and research of contents that help to keep high the energy and enthusiasm while learning the new language.
I have always been treating students as mature and intelligent individuals, able to actively participate in class and work on their passion for the subject.
I believe the classroom is a living community and that everyone, from the principal to the students, has to contribute as a thinker in order to maintain a positive atmosphere. Of course, this can be adjusted based on the subject and student's individual needs.
Students need high motivation, lots of stimulus, and help to continue studying and be successful on a subject, such as a foreign language, especially Italian, which may be very different from their mother tongue.
I have a year tutoring experience in a college, alongside the main professor. I worked directly with any students who needed additional assistance and support in Italian.
Additionally I held tutoring sessions, when I was in Italy, everyday after school where students could come for any homework help.
I am easy to reach and will always provide fast responses. Feel free to contact me with any additional questions or to schedule a lesson!
Thank you so much
