Hello, I’m a certified Japanese, English and music teacher. I was born and raised in Osaka, Japan, and now am living in Rwanda. I love teaching and now am teaching Japanese, English and piano lessons in Rwanda. I have more than 15 years of experience as a professional teacher. My experience as a teacher has been mainly teaching English to university-level Japanese and international students in Japan, but I have also taught high school students and company workers. I also have taught Japanese in Cameroon and am now teaching in Rwanda. I have taught people from different counties including Cameroon, Eritrea, Australia, the U.S. and France.
After completing the Japanese Language Teaching Training course at a university in Japan, I have passed Japanese teaching competency test. I also hold Master’s degree in TESOL and my TOEIC score is 955.
My teaching style is student-centered and I’m good at teaching beginners. I will teach Japanese using English. I believe it’s helpful especially for beginners to learn Japanese using English rather than using Japanese. I will use “GENKI” and “???????“ for my lessons. I enjoy taking photos, sewing, watching movies and traveling, and we can talk about these things in Japanese if you like.
