To begin with, I will ask the student whether they have any specific arguments, theories, or definitions they need explained before approaching the topic decided for the session. During the sessions, I aim to go through essay plans with the students in order to teach the content whilst enforcing the structure and wording required for an A* essay. Whilst studying for my A-levels, I found that going through the essay plans for each topic is the most concise way to learn the necessary arguments and definitions whilst preparing for the essay.
