The world has gone digital, with most of our day to day life dependent on our knowledge of computers, therefore the need for digital literacy at its best! My experience in teaching children between age 5 and 15 has taught me that the blended learning approach works better and are more likely to produce better results as opposed to the traditional method of learning which is restricted to the classroom. My computing lessons are structured to be concise, very interactive, and practical based. The curriculum is designed with each learner in mind( high, medium and low ability learners) With lots of new ideas to try out one day at a time. Learners are categorized based on their learning abilities and are taught using individualized learning techniques. My methods expose learners to age based lessons that are solely designed for their age groups. Each age group with their unique set of task that is not cumbersome yet tasking. At the end of each lesson, answers are provided to each learners questions, reading and research list are provided to keep the learners engaged and most of all parents and guardians are able to see tangible progress within a short period of time.
