I have been a tutor since completing my A Levels in 2019 and alongside my Biology degree at the University of Oxford. My lessons include a teaching section where I present and discuss a topic with my student, and a feedback section where I go through exam style questions either during the lesson with my student or provide feedback on exam style questions that have been completed between lessons. This allows my students to develop their knowledge of biology alongside their understanding and efficiency when approaching exam style questions. I developed both my knowledge and exam style answers to achieve nine A*'s and one A at GCSE and two A*s and one A at A Level as well as additional A AS Level. Having just graduated from university I understand Biology as well as how to study effectively. I help my students to engage in active rather than passive learning to increase their ability to memorise content and understand a wider picture of biology so that they are best equip to answer any questions thrown at them in an examination setting. I understand that each student has a unique style of learning, so whilst my lessons are structured I am able to adapt pace and style to suit my students requirements so that together we can build their knowledge and confidence in the subject. I am best equip to tutor GCSE and A Level Biology, but can also tutor GCSE Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics and Geography. I am also able to offer Oxbridge interview coaching for science subjects.
