I am a dedicated, dynamic, & gifted personality with an extensive range of international teaching experience & leadership. My last teaching position was ‘Head of Key Stage 2’ in an international school in Malaysia; since then, I have returned home to the UK in the midst of the Covid-19 global pandemic to be with family, and have added a holistic qualification as a ‘Breathwork Teacher’ to my plethora of skills.

Currently, I am a freelance private tutor, as well as a consultant for training & mentoring teachers. After a decade of teaching & learning, I have a proven track record of delivering outstanding lessons & providing teacher training of a high quality with student-centered learning & well-being at the heart. I believe in modelling and teaching self-awareness, resilience, & independence as a lifelong learner.

I use a range of modern teaching methods, inclusive of all learning styles to ensure genuine engagement, learning, recollection and application. Depending on the subject, content may be taught using online games, apps, songs, and/or presentations - all tailor made and adapted to suit the needs of each individual learner. An individual learning plan is created for each student I work with, to identify the level of current understanding, as well as any gaps in knowledge. An action plan is then used to systematically fill in any learning gaps whilst extending and improving upon existing knowledge and skills.
