I am an online tutor but I am open to working in person. My lessons are structured around a students needs and their school studies. I like to remain aware of any other work they may be allocated from school and ensure my cucciculum enhances rather than pressures their educational journey!
The content of my lessons is again based on student preferences and school curriculums. I also adapt my teaching technique according to a students’ style. For example, for those that struggle to focus, lessons will be more interactive or self-driven as opposed to being heavily tutor led.
The dynamic between tutor and student is extremely important. I try my best to ensure that the student is comfortable and relaxed during lessons. That is the best way to absorb information! I like to be available for my students and parents of students whenever and so communicate mainly through WhatsApp (for parents) so there is always an easy and quick way to get in touch with me :)
I have several years experience as a tutor and have received many glowing reviews on top of seeing vast increases in my students’ grades. My experience includes (but is not limited to) GCSE Tutoring, Functional Skills Tutoring and KS3 Tutoring. I have taught multiple ages and exam boards and am adaptable to any that I haven’t taught before. Challenge me!!
I find teaching to be very fulfilling and am extremely motivated to help students strive for the best they are able to achieve.
