My objective goes beyond teaching the French language and the cultural practices and products of francophone societies around the world. I provide the learners with a deeper understanding of how a language reflects the broader spectrum of the worldview that cements a given linguistic community.

With 10 years of teaching experience, I create well-structured and engaging French Language courses for all levels of proficiency. I have been developing and implementing active learning methodologies which are task-based, purposeful, and skill-focused. In my lessons, I emphasize authentic documents and experiences, use depth of knowledge concepts in planning activities and implement research-based strategies for best practices.

My professional experience encompasses teaching and leadership roles, including IB Diploma Program French Language B and French Advanced Program teacher, as well as Head of the Foreign Languages Department at Bali Island School and Chiang Mai International School. I am also familiar with the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) and the DELF / DALF / DILF certifications.
