Recently graduated with a Bachelors of Law, my teaching method would be quite straightforward. I would teach how I studied in order to qualify which was summarising and making concept notes and visualisation boards. I found that those really helped me memorise the necessary content hence, I have prepared them for my lessons. Furthermore, I have prepared real life examples needed when answering case studies as it helps with understanding which cases and law are suitable for the specific situation.
In addition, I have familiarised and studied the marking rubrics used by my Professors in Cardiff University to gauge how they may mark the essays so I could provide my students with an idea on the mark they would achieve and provide feedback on how to further improve for a better grade. I have also created powerpoint presentations, notes, sample essays, diagrams and charts for my students to ensure they don't just memorise the content, but also fully familiarise themself with the law and concepts which is essential to getting a first class degree.
As a recent student myself, I understand the difficulties and challenges in Law school and would be willing to provide my students with whatever they may need to grasp the concept and the law. I am willing to provide weekly feedback on the content necessary and I give my students simple tasks after every class after determining their weakness.
I believe that with my guidance, my students can get a first class provided that they follow my feedback and put in the effort
