Nahema Venceslai

With a PhD in Biological Sciences and a Biotechnology degree from Imperial College London, I have a strong expertise in science and computational subjects. I have also taught undergraduate students during my PhD, allowing me to engage with students from a variety of backgrounds and very different learning styles. I'll tailor lessons to each student’s needs, ensuring clear explanations and a structured, interactive approach.

I focus on building problem-solving skills, critical thinking, and confidence in my students, whether they are preparing for exams, improving their understanding of a subject, or developing practical skills. I aim to build confidence and critical thinking skills in every session by using real-world examples whenever possible, and engaging discussions to make learning more enjoyable and effective.

My lessons are adaptable to each student’s pace, and I can help students of all levels, from school to university, using a mix of theory, exercises, and practice questions to reinforce understanding. I can guide students towards the development of analytical skills and effective learning techniques to improve overall learning.

I am originally from Italy, so I am also able to offer Italian and Spanish tutoring, leveraging my fluency to help students improve their skills. Whether what is needed is help with grammar, conversation, exam preparation, or tips on how to improve fluency, I can support the journey of language learning. Based in Twickenham, I provide in-person lessons locally and online tutoring worldwide. Currently, I am available most weekdays, with a preference for mornings or afternoons, but can also consider evening tutoring and weekend tutoring if needed.
