I was an au-pair here in the UK, so I have experience with children, but I can teach even adults.
I can work at your home, in a public place, or online, depending on the distance.
My methods are traditional, but they include the use of different kinds of resources, like podcasts, webinars, games, and suggestions of activities like language meetups.
As a language learner myself, I pay particular attention from the first classes to listening to different accents, as it can make a difference in real life.
Another aspect I take in consideration to language vs real life is to communicate the differences between the language of the text-book and the words actually used in spoken language, as they may differ.
I always put my efforts in making the lesson fun, because a good laugh can help memorise things and can create more attention.
For this same reason, I like to use the Pomodoro technique even in a class. I alternate 25 minutes of deep immersion to 5 minutes of lighter work until the end of the class to increase the attention span.
I can't wait to teach you Italian and create curiosity about my language and create a passion for it!
