I am a professional actress, physical theatre and comedy improv performer. I also dance, since I was 6 years old, [classical ballet, contemporary dance, modern jazz, latin dances, swing] and sing. I have played in numerous physical theatre and comedy improv shows as well as in musical theatre performances.
I studied in "Andreas Voutsinas" Drama School, Present being performer workshop, House of Improv, Attis Theatre [9th International Workshop “The Method Of Theodoros Terzopoulos”] and I have also attended multiple physical theatre, acting, comedy improv and musical theatre seminars/workshops.
I am currently playing with a professional comedy improv group I co-founded in Thessaloniki.
Concerning teaching, at the moment I teach students live and online on acting, performing and aslo orthophony.
My motive for teaching is authentically connecting with the students and exchanging data so that I know how to lead them to finding their true artistic self.
That I achieve with providing a theoretical framework, practice on acting/physical theatre techniques, a huge variety of warm-ups, specific exercises on tools, techniques and expression, and of course a safe space to experiment through improvisation.
The format I use in the lessons is:
-warm-up
-theory
-exercises/tools
-tryouts [with a text/monologue or on improvisations]
-feedback/conversation
The important thing to share here is that I base the lesson on each student's needs. I am there to help, guide them and provide a safe space for artistic expression.
I can prepare students for show and art schools' auditions and lastly, I provide students with notes and material for personal study.
