On a personal note, I am currently a postgraduate student undertaking the dissertation module at the University of Wolverhampton. My dissertation mainly investigates the impact of parental validation on student academic performance.
I recently graduated with a BSc in Chemistry from the same university. I am not that experienced in terms of work since I am more focused on studying. However, this opportunity to tutor students all over the world would greatly help me gain additional skills that can mould me to become more experienced with the outside world. Additionally, this would greatly help me enhance my communication skills.
I am not a talkative person as I am unable to hold a conversation consistently. However, students may feel at ease with me in terms of sharing their worries since I am more of a listener. I want to be able to offer my support as much as I can to my students to lessen their worries as I had been in the same spot as them before. It is now my turn to become the first point of contact when students have concerns regarding their academics or their personal lives.
