I look forward to impart knowledge through interactive sessions and informal learning especially on the application of language.

Most students are learning English at an advanced age and it is important to make these classes as practical as possible. The course offering has great content, together with the students, the continuous interaction and practicing of public speaking will boost their confidence in speaking and expressing themselves.

It is imperative to also focus on written English. Before we apply the speech and presentation skills, the writing must be congruent. Tasks and regular assessment on writing will be taken seriously especially in the class and social settings, like WhatsApp and the rest. Students should feel confident enough to speak and write English once they complete the course and also in case of refresher courses, it'll be quite easy for them.

My experience in the corporate sector has taught me that most people taking up English as a foreign language and the bilingual speakers at times struggle to express themselves as they fear to pronounce words wrongly, they are afraid to write something wrongly and forget that this is part of learning. A wholistic teaching experience remains unforgettable to students rather than plain academic learning.

Lastly, continuous assessment is key in gauging progress of the students ranging from listening to an English show, watching English movies and tv shows, reading and comprehension just tom mention some few areas. It is important to have constant revision of the language for the students at all times.
