Hello Parents and Students,

I’m writing this short brief so you can get some idea of how I will conduct my lessons.

My lessons will be hands on. Usually involving learning via fun activities such as acting out certain scenarios, key cards. General conversation ( so the child feels at ease), repetition of areas in which the child is struggling. I will also do tests to see where the child is at, this will include reading, spelling etc (for the older kids).

I aim to make sure the child at hand is comfortable so will go at their pace until they are more comfortable and confident to progress in a particular area.

I want them to be excited to want to learn and look forward to having me teach them.


My experience is fairly new as I haven’t been in lessons in a classroom etc, but I am studying tefl in order to get more experience. I would love to make the career change.
However, I don’t feel like this should reflect poorly as I’m willing to go the extra mile and I’m confident that I am capable of helping kids progress.
