So I always like to start my lessons with a small quiz or activity just to check knowledge and make sure we are in the same place. If there any gaps in the knowledge then we can easily address those and make sure we are confident with basic knowledge. I always like to have some questions during my lessons to make sure we are confident with exam style questions rather then feel scared of them, at the end of the day it is the exam that’s going to determine what grade you get so why be anxious about it?

The content will be based on the exam board or specification that is used in your school so it is easier for you to learn concepts based around that spec.

If you’re not in exam years 7-8 then we can work on just making sure we have a good foundation.

I have a degree in Biomedical Science as well as a PGCE (teaching qualification) so I have taught in schools too. This means I know all the inside outs to watch teachers want and especially what exams boards want to see
