Lesson format would be at first marking the homework set from the lesson before, then after discussing with the student and finding what they need help with the most we would focus on that topic. Content would be taught to them, followed by me showing them how to answer a number of questions related to that topic and how to structure a model answer, then I would assign them questions to do for themselves so they can do and I would mark them in session and go over any mistakes. I would set them homework to do for the next session and ask them what topic they would like to focus on for the next week.
